founder & ceo

The BOOM Consultancy concept was developed by Adrian Mifsud, an experienced management thinker with a track record of delivering improved outcomes in challenging environments. He has, and is, being tasked with assignments locally and abroad, in both the public and private sector, leading to changes in organisations.

His first managerial experience came at the age of 23 in the private sector, and following his engagement within local government, at the age of 33, he was elected to serve as President of the European Federation of Local Government Chief Executive Officers (UDITE). During his term of office, he was commended for his skills in taking forward a strategic approach to corporate business planning. His personal style and diplomacy was a major contributor to establishing a consensual approach to pan European working at Local Government CEO level and to extend access and influence European managerial and political organisations.

For the past fifteen years, he has been delivering training and coaching sessions with various organisations and is a visiting lecturer sharing knowledge with learners in Malta and internationally.

He has vast experience of the public sector in Malta, serving in top management positions in local government and the public service where served as Head of Human Resources and Training and as Project Leader for innovative professional development projects from concept to implementation. In 2016, he was appointed Director responsible for local government and is now fully focused on the BOOM Consultancy project.

As founder of BOOM Consultancy, he has created a strong alliance of expertise to provide management and technical consultancy services, aiming to enhance the potential that executives and employees possess in building sustainable organisations!
